The murals below were created in the Fall of 2018 for Micklethwait Market & Grocery in Smithville, Texas, an expansion of the Austin barbecue restaurant Micklethwait Craft Meats. Hand-stenciled and painted to resemble faux wallpaper in each of two bathrooms plus the office, the murals featured a stag and doe along with oak branches and leaves atop a buttery colored base to thematically connect to the artwork on the original food trailer in Austin (created by Oakland-based artist Kenneth Holland).
