The Quarantined Artist Postcard Exchange was a project I organized in response to the early period of the COVID-19 pandemic. It ran from June 2020–May 2021 and included 50 artists (including myself) over the course of the project. Inspired by the methods and inclusiveness of the Fluxus movement, it was designed to keep artists connected during quarantine when viewing art and interacting socially was not possible. Participating artists were paired each month and then created an original art postcard to send to each other. Each month artists received new partners to expand networks and a sense of community. The paintings below are a selection of the postcards I created and sent to my artist partners.
